This thermometer is designed for very specific use cases. I wouldn’t advise purchasing this if all you are looking for is a run of the mill thermometer. I say this because it says in the directions you should leave it under your tongue for 120 seconds. 2 minutes to get a temperature seems excessive but if you want a super accurate reading this might be necessary. It is rather uncomfortable under the tongue as well. You can set the date and time on it and set an alarm to wake you up to remind you to take your temp if you want to do it at the same time every day. At $17 I would say unless this is exactly what you are looking for, move on to a more inexpensive thermometer that can take your temp in much less time. I say ⅘ stars because the product feel a tad over engineered. But at the end of the day it functions as it is supposed to.
